Shipping Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
This policy explains how ChromVale Scientific arranges shipment and delivery for accepted business orders within Canada.
Any shipping terms stated in an accepted quotation, written order confirmation, or other written agreement apply to that order.
Scope
Business and professional orders supplied within Canada.
This Shipping Policy applies to products supplied by ChromVale Scientific Inc., operating as ChromVale Scientific (“ChromVale”), to business, institutional, laboratory, educational, governmental, and other professional customers in Canada.
This Policy forms part of ChromVale’s Terms of Sale. Any specific shipping terms stated in an accepted quotation, written order confirmation, or other written agreement will apply to that order.
Order Acceptance and Product Availability
An inquiry or purchase order is not automatically an accepted order.
Submitting an availability request, quotation request, purchase order, or other inquiry does not by itself create an accepted order.
Shipping arrangements, product availability, final pricing, applicable documentation, estimated dispatch date, and estimated delivery timing will be confirmed in writing before an order is accepted.
ChromVale is not required to ship an order until the order has been accepted in writing, the required payment or approved credit arrangement has been completed, and all reasonably required delivery information has been received.
Shipping Destinations
Canadian destinations are reviewed on an order-specific basis.
ChromVale currently supplies customers within Canada. Availability of delivery to remote locations, restricted-access facilities, post-office boxes, or other special destinations will be confirmed on an order-specific basis.
Orders outside Canada will be accepted only where ChromVale expressly agrees in writing.
Shipping Charges and Methods
Charges and the proposed delivery method are confirmed in writing.
Shipping charges, special handling charges, applicable taxes, and the proposed delivery method will be stated in the quotation, invoice, or written order confirmation.
ChromVale will use reasonable efforts to select an appropriate carrier, service level, packaging method, and shipping route for the product. ChromVale may change the carrier, service, packaging, or route where reasonably necessary for safety, regulatory compliance, product classification, carrier acceptance, or operational reasons.
Tracking information will be provided where available.
Processing and Delivery Estimates
Dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
Processing, dispatch, transit, and delivery dates are estimates unless ChromVale expressly confirms a guaranteed date in writing.
Estimated timing may be affected by product availability, supplier lead times, payment processing, documentation requirements, carrier capacity, transportation restrictions, customs or regulatory processing, weather, labour disruption, incorrect delivery information, or other circumstances outside ChromVale’s reasonable control.
ChromVale will notify the Customer of a material known delay when reasonably practicable.
Customer Delivery Responsibilities
Accurate delivery information and suitable receiving arrangements are required.
The Customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, contact information, receiving hours, access instructions, and any facility-specific delivery requirements.
The Customer must ensure that an authorized recipient or suitable receiving facility is available where required.
Reasonable storage, redelivery, address-correction, return-to-sender, or related costs resulting from incorrect information, refusal of delivery, or failure to receive the shipment may be charged to the Customer.
Partial Shipments
Orders are not intentionally divided without prior agreement.
ChromVale will not intentionally divide an order into separate shipments unless the Customer agrees in writing, the accepted quotation or order confirmation permits partial shipment, or a partial shipment is reasonably necessary and ChromVale obtains the Customer’s approval.
Any additional shipping charges will be communicated before the partial shipment is made.
Title and Risk of Loss
Title follows full payment; transit risk passes upon delivery.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, title to the products will not pass to the Customer until ChromVale has received payment in full for the applicable order.
Risk of loss or damage will pass to the Customer when the products are delivered to the Customer’s designated destination or authorized recipient.
Loss or damage occurring before delivery will be reviewed under this Shipping Policy and ChromVale’s Terms of Sale.
Inspection, Damage, Shortages and Incorrect Items
Inspect deliveries promptly and preserve relevant packaging and evidence.
The Customer should inspect each shipment promptly after delivery and verify the quantity, product identity, packaging condition, and apparent physical condition of the products.
Visible shipping damage, leakage, missing items, incorrect products, or quantity discrepancies should be reported as soon as reasonably possible. Customers are encouraged to contact ChromVale within two business days of delivery so that any carrier or supplier investigation can begin promptly.
The Customer should retain the shipping carton, shipping label, internal packaging, product labels, end caps, protective packaging, and affected products until ChromVale confirms that they may be discarded.
ChromVale may request photographs and other reasonable supporting information. A product involved in a damage or delivery-error claim should not be installed, flushed, used, modified, contaminated, or discarded unless required for safety or authorized by ChromVale.
Failure to report an apparent issue promptly may affect ChromVale’s ability to pursue a carrier or supplier claim, but does not limit any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Lost or Damaged Shipments
Available resolutions depend on the shipment and supporting evidence.
Where a shipment is confirmed as lost, materially damaged before delivery, incomplete, or incorrectly supplied due to an error attributable to ChromVale, ChromVale may, as appropriate:
- replace the affected product;
- reship the order or missing item;
- issue a credit; or
- provide a refund for the affected product.
The appropriate resolution will depend on product availability, the circumstances of the shipment, supporting evidence, and the applicable order terms.
Events Outside ChromVale’s Control
External events may require delay, suspension, substitution, or cancellation.
ChromVale will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside its reasonable control, including carrier disruption, severe weather, natural disaster, labour disruption, government action, import or export restriction, transportation interruption, supplier delay, shortage, or regulatory processing.
ChromVale may extend an estimated delivery date, use a reasonable alternative shipping arrangement, suspend shipment, or cancel an affected unfulfilled order. If ChromVale cancels an unfulfilled order, amounts paid for products that will not be supplied will be refunded or credited.
